I have the opportunity to buy a 1990 callaway with 19k miles. Know the owners, has not been driven in 8 years not started in 2. Anyone know what it's worth. Teal green with camel interior.
Thanks, Paul

When a car has sat for a long time and hasn't been started in a couple of years your taking on some risks. The lower the price the more the appeal. Just anticipate some expense to get it up and running. How much do they want for it?
Buy it. Being a Callaway I'd expect it was put away with care (pickled). Not like it was just parked and owner never went back. The hoses and belts are most likely original and will need replaced as with the fluids, oil should have been change when it was parked. I've serviced many boats that were stored 2-6 yrs and had no trouble with the engines.
The woman who owns it does not know the value. It was her husbands who died 9 years ago. It has not been driven since he died. I'm guessing 20k would be a good deal, am I off??

Unless it was not well-kept, 20k would be a steal for a '90. Coupe or 'vert?

That would be a rockin deal. Coupe or Vert? Standard Body or Aerobody?
