iron heads IS an L98 early. Suspension will be on a trim tag I think under arm rest console (maybe on the 86) or under the storage bins in the rear of the car. Are the shocks yellow Bilsteins or black gm stocks. If they are original black shocks = base suspension

Might be lucky and have Z51 performance handling pkg ( Yellow HD bilsteins were part of that ) or could be base suspension with optional Bilsteins ( option # FG3 )

right you now have me thinking !!! i'm sure the shocks are yellow but i'll go to the garage in the morning and have a good look ! i'll also try and find the trim codes ! and get back to you all !

but while i'm here who are moog ? seen people talk about there car parts but cant find a web address for them.

and where is the cheapest but good quality parts supplier for corvette parts, i'm just about to do a $4000 order with ecklers but they use fedex to ship the parts and it costs a fortune ( over $1000) then i pay 20% inport tax on the lot as well ! so i need to keep costs right down to get her back on the road again
