Default what to replace next?

so i bought my 94 convertible 6 speed 3 months ago, and iv been going through and replacing the things that wear out after 15 years. heres a list of what iv done so far: oil/filter, rear axle fluid, tranny fluid, coolant, clutch fluid, fuel filter, power brake booster, plugs and wires, belt, coil, cleaned throttle body and gasket, air filter, injectors, brake fluid, i think thats it.
so what else do you guys recomend changing? i was going to do the u joints on the driveshaft and half shafts, and some of the rubber bushings that were looking worn. my goal with the car is to get it driving like new since its my daily driver for a while, and i want worn out things to be good before i start putting more power into it. thanks!

o, and my fuel economy sucks. like 1/3 highway, 1/3 city, and 1/3 open roads, iv been averaging 12.5-15. i dont drive fast and shift fairly early. i have no clue what it could be?

Change out the rubber brake lines if they are origional. Stainless steel, braded lines are cost effective and tighten the pedal up. Put the brake bias spring in the master cylinder, and bleed it all out with fresh brake fluid (Ford). You will be amazed at the difference, and less than $150 for everything.

I also have a 94 coupe Auto with 71k. Most of my driving is around town and I get about 14.5 mpg. I also have the 3.07 gears. You seem to be about right.

Agree with Pete on the brake hoses. Also have a close look at Radiator hoses, heater hoses.

Suspension bushings. Every last one of them. If they are original, they are mush. Check all suspension and steering parts, including wheel bearings for play, replace as needed, and follow up with a good 4 wheel alignment. Now you will feel how the car was meant to handle.

You, my friend need a Turbonator!

Just kidding. I agree with the brake system upgrade and the bushings/bearings.

I was waiting for someone else to say the dirty word, but no one did. With 133.000 miles if the optispark is original then it has already outlived expectations. Another farily expensive ignition component is the ICM, but no telling just how long it might last.
How are the shocks?

With that type of mileage it does sound like the ignition parts could need replacing.

Check the area between the radiator and the a/c condenser. If it hasn't been cleaned in 15 years (or even two) there will probably be a lot of trash in there. Also, since you plan to use it as a DD make sure the weather stripping is in good condition.

Reminds me of years ago when I was with my mechanic and his Subaru, on the way to Time Trials in the desert .. I waited for him at 125mph. and then waived bye bye' .. This before my 373 gear change.

I had some work done on mine, and had that replaced at the same time even though it wasnt giving me any problems, but figured it would be cheaper to be safe then sorry.

Also, how is the weather stripping? I know it has nothing to do with mechnical, but at 150,000 plus, mine is definately in need of replacement.

With the winter months coming on, now would not be a good time to discover a leak in case you park it outside like I do.

Check your PCV valve and all vacuum lines/connectors. I'd think you could pull a few more MPG out of that thing - I averaged close to 19 with my LT4 before I put in the Hot Cam, and about 18 afterward.

Especially the heater hoses. If they're hard or brittle, then they are getting ready to blow. (Believe me, I know)

Is this typical mileage with LT cars? My 89 with the tractor/truck L98 gets at least 20 MPG per tank. Mostly city driving.

no, i deffinantly know i should be pulling higher mpg, just not sure whats wrong. the radiator hoses etc have all been replaced about a year ago when the water pump was replaced. however, i dont know if the opti spark was replaced. i have the cars receipts from the past 11 years, and i have one that shows cap and rotor for around 190 dollars in 2002. so maybe the opti could use replacing? the weatherstripping is pretty crappy but i dont have leaks. it will be getting changed out sometime next year. pcv valve is another cheap one i could replace. it has newer bilstein shocks. what is the icm? how would i test to see if its going bad? appreciate it guys
