The Vette is a Y body. A lot of the motor parts are the same as the F body parts that started in 93. The Vette was the only car in 92 with the LT1 so they somtimes forget us Vette owners.

That and they are almost identical, early 93's are the exact same as 92 engines, then slowly parts started changing, i.e. serpentine belt, IAC.
93 is by far the worst year for ordering parts, I take back more parts for my sons 93 because GM changed parts mid year.
Just my opinion, but I'd guess that GM scrambled to make the LT1 40th that much better. Those final designs came out in '94. That made the '93 a 'unique' year.
Lots of parts are different for 92 .... MAF, air plenum, valve covers, ECM for example. '
92 -93 Vette LT1 was speed density ; didn't have a MAF
92 -93 Vette LT1 has same 16159278 ECM .Last ECM to have a removible chip
LT1's don't have a plenum; is one piece intake
The '92 -'93 intake does not have the fuel crossover that the '94+ intakes do
