Default Water Leak

Hey guy's, new to this forum. I have a '95 Vette. It is a coupe. Love the performance and the potential that lies within! My problem is a frustrating water leak. This car does not sit in a garage and will be my daily driver so i really need this fixed. I put all new weatherstripping in that I got from a vendor at Corvettes at Carlise. I don't remember the brand. The water seems to travel down the A-pillar and enters the car at the base of the A-pillar, where the door and A-pillar meet. It almost seems the water is getting behind the weatherstripping? You can see the water stains on the side of the dash where it meets the door panel as well as on the door panel. This is on both the driver and passenger side. This in turn soaks the floor. Has anyone run into this? I installed the weatherstripping correctly as I have restored a few cars in the past, just never ran into a problem like this and Vettes are new to me. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sometimes I heard other owners will condition the seals with some silicone grease ( the dialectric grease or the one we use for o-rings). It seems to keep them pliable. If you have a bad seal or a crack somewhere that's something else. If they are new seals maybe it's the way you tighten down the top?

Thanks for the replys. I tried the water test but tried it alone as everyone was at work, thats how I found it coming in at the base of the A-pillar. I'll have to get a helper and try to narrow it down.
Thanks again.

Are you saying the water is dripping down from the inside of the A pillar plastic trim? If so, then that would mean water is probably getting past the windshield trim, or behind the weatherstrip retainers. Usually, if a windshield has been replaced that was done poorly or cheaply, then you get water coming in past the windshield going under the windshield metal trim. Or if they don't put sealant on the back side of the weatherstrip retainers, then water will get in past there.
