A local boy from Edmonton (Canada) is making it in Nashville now and he has just released a song called Blue Corvette. It's about a 1962 blue Vette. Seeing there aren't a lot of songs about Vettes, you might want to give a listen. One warning, it's country. Enjoy
Jim
Country or no, it's pretty damn cool Of course the Maple Leaf has also given us Rush, April Wine, Neil Young, Bachman Turner Overdrive......and Crown Royal (wait, they're not a band, are they?)
.....and you will swear to God that Neil Young learned his licks from you back in High School in Missouri circa 1966.....and that he stole your riffs and made a fortune off them and then forgot about you.

I know that is such man
just think you could be in a c5 if he didn't do that.

Oh yeah...and Mrs. Mutt Lange.
Good find Jimbo....
I didn't realize April Wine was from Canada. And you forgot Seagrams and Guess Who, who were the parents of BTO. You know those guys who ask the American Woman to stay away.
As a youngster I thought they were actually talking about American Women, but was saddened to find out it was just another anti american war song. But hey, I can still pretend it's about American Women and crank up the volume.

Yes, Myles and the boys hail from Canada. One of my favorite bands ever. I'd followed them from the mid 70's, but First Glance hit my sophomore year in high school, and they took off in a huge way. Every graduation party in 1981 had The Nature of the Beast blaring. Ahhhh....those were the days. Damn I'm getting old.
I listen to Harder Faster on a regular basis to this day. The album never got old.

April Wine, I think I have most of their songs downloaded. Don't mind LoverBoy either
