Default Where to find paint codes and samples?

Merry Christmas everyone.
My son and I bought an 88 and he wants to repaint the car and change the interior. I talked him in to staying with stock colors for compatability with interior choices but we have not been able to see an archived thread that gives the colors samples and the codes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Merry Christmas. Dan

Never seen a sample color sheet online
Have to run around the car yards until you find a color you like and get the factory paint code from the RPO label
Paint codes and cross reference here

don't pick a color on-line - you won't get a true color example from a computer screen. try an automotive paint supplier. any large paint supplier will have paint chip books on every color imaginable from various manufacturer's product lines. once you decide on a specific color, you can choose any hue or shade within that color range. the books i've seen, have chips that are about 1.5" square with about a 3/4 square cutout. that way, you can lay another color behind to compare any two-tone combo, or in your case, and interior sample. also, you don't have to stick with a solid color on the interior, but go two-tone - e.g., black with red panel inserts, or graphite, with light gray inserts, then complement that with the exterior color. i wouldn't go two-tone on the interior and two-tone on the exterior, on the same car, unless they were the same colors. you can get pre-made two-tone seats with stock colors from most corvette parts suppliers (call willcox - they can help you), or have custom covers made at any automotive upholsterer. good luck on the color selections - hope this helps...

The 1988 Corvette exterior colors were:
13 = Silver Metallic
20 = Medium Blue Metallic
28 = Dark Blue Metallic
35 = Yellow
40 = White
41 = Black
74 = Dark Red Metallic
81 = Bright Red
90 = Gray Metallic
96 = Charcoal Metallic
40/41 = Black and White

I would not pick a color on line either. Liked posted go to a local auto paint supplier.
