Does anyone know where i can get one of these brass fittings from? It is threaded into the top of the gas tank. I have looked and havent been able to find one. Thanks, DD

What's wrong with using that one? It looks like a standard pipe thread fitting. See how it's tapered? My local fleet farm has those, any local hardware store also should that has a plumbing section. You might need to use two fittings if they don't have a 90° one like that. It will be the hose barb part that screws into the base part. I have several in the shop from other projects.

I looked around at a couple the hardware stores locally and was unable to find one. The fitting is supposed to be t shaped. unfortunately it was broken during removal.

I believe that is the vent for the charcoal canister, gas evap system.

T shaped, gotcha. There might be bases threaded on each side but I don't remember. You could screw in a hose barb fitting on each side then.

If you still have the part it could probably be welded back together. Brazing or even JB weld.

Now that I see a picture of it. Surely you can be creative and make one of those with something.

Also try a salvage yard.

And you may look in the parts section here, for someone parting out a vette. They usually have some.

Plug the broken side of fitting .
Put a T on the old rubber line to front , connect the hose that went to the broken piece on one side and run a short piece of hose to the fitting you have
