Re: Automatic shift **** adaptor now available!!!! (Springer's 95)
I don't like the fact it keeps the button pushed down all the time.. I'd hate to hit reverse at 80 by accident.
Where did you see that it keeps the button depressed? The button won't depress without the brake on anyway. I've seen these adaptors on C5's, and you push the whole **** down to move the lever. The adaptor has never been available by itself until now.
Re: Automatic shift **** adaptor now available!!!! (art91)
I was speaking with C5 owners and they said it just keeps the button pushed down all the time. You need to push the brake to get the car out of park, but thats it... if it keeps the button down at any other gear... thats nutty. If this adapter retains the button in some form, then thats pretty cool.

There must be two different adaptors then. The one I saw in action had to be pushed down. I hope then one I just ordered is the same. I'll send the maker an email.
Re: Automatic shift **** adaptor now available!!!! (CAU-LLC)
Thank you Jim!
I have been trying to figure out how these automatic shift ***** remove (especially on my F-Body) & your photos show exactly where that clip is. I will peruse Momo's latest offerings & perhaps place an order for one of these adaptors this week.
I know this is quite a long shot, but does anyone know if something like this still exists? I am aware that this thread is like 20 years old, but whatever this product was sounds interesting. Looking to do something like this for my 87.
I do see that there are adaptors for C5 corvettes, but cant find ones for C4s.
