That is incredible. That's a higher price than what some ZR-1 owners would sell their car for. And let's face it, a ruby convertible is not a ZR-1 in terms of long term desirability. I think the seller did very well indeed.
That's only slightly over the Hagerty money for a 40th Anniversary convertible with automatic in #1 condition (and I'd assume that 200 miles is #1 condition).
I know a few fairly serious Corvette collectors who have recently added a low mileage 40th 'vert to their collection.
