Door window adjustment?
Hey.... My drivers side window stops fine back by the door handle but upfront near the mirror the window goes up about 1 1/4in higher than the seal. Anyone know how many stops are used to stop the window when all the way up?
I found a broken piece of plastic in the bottom of the door and it came from the forward mount hole of the window and follows a steel rod. Replaced it but still happens. The two anti-rattle bracket are in new shape and are adjusted just right.
The bad part is you have to pay attention to the switch every time you operate it because the back top corner part of the window kicks back, out of wack, and smacks the painted pillar. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...s/banghead.gif
