Happy New Year to all.
Newbie here, 1st. post. 1986 w/196,000k on the odo. Correct size wheels & tires inflated to 30#. Ride height within a 1/4'' side to side. Yes it is the dr. side that is lower. The one that rubs on dips. No glaring suspension damage. Drives well and straight.
Where are the specs for original ride height? Measure from wheel well lip to hub center?
Could a blown shock be the culprit? Seems probable. Should I look for something specific?
Thanks in advance for any input.
That is my first gut level thought as well. Shocks are everywhere. But.
Where do I go for stock or equal stock to springs? I generally prefer stock parts. GC used would be good. Where might I find the Holy Grail of C4 suspension specs?
This will never be anything but a DD so some concessions may be in order.
I have to lift the wheel well to slide the lift foot under as it is so lowering is a no go.
I have not searched for a part interchangeability list but a little direction would be great.
