Re: TB bypass caps (Ron78Z&85Vette)
I cut mine off. I just got large tube runners, and would need to alter the IAC housing anyway. My air pump is coming off as soon the weather warms up, and I'm polishing all the cast aluminum under the hood. Just figured it would look cleaner flush with the TB.

I bought the bypass hose connector, 2 clamps and TB caps all at the local auto parts store.

Got some black rubber caps at a home store like Home Depot. Had to buy two different sizes as one tube was larger then the other.

Jim, when I do my 93 TB bypass, I'm going to use the hose from a 95, that way the "T" is eliminated altogether.

Hey, Mojo are you referring to the tee in the upper radiator hose?
I was looking at that but, it runs through the heater core don't it?

On my '94 I got the 95/96 hose, thus eliminating the "T". Also, got two generic caps ... got the whole thing from local NAPA. Can't remember price but it seems the whole thing was around $10.00. Very easy mod. Just remember to drain a little coolant off to avoid spillage.
