Hey all,
As you know, i have been on a quest to find out information on the wheels that are on my car. Well, i got ahold of the guy that sold her to me, and he said they are American Racing wheels. Here's a close up....
I am thinking that they are no longer produced. I dont see them on the web page at all. I hope this helps for those of you who wanted to purchase some like these. Does anyone know the email of American Racing? I would like to email them to get some info. Thanks!! :smash:
Ha!!No, i did that. :jester I couldnt find any support for my wheels when i lost 2 center caps, so i just got some that fit the hole. Sorry for the confusion!
I have seen wheels exactlly like that. They were made in Asia and were somewhat copy cats of the American Racings and Gottis. My 69 vette has AR wheels in that style and I had to get another look at them to compare. If you demount the tire, you may find some numbers and a manufacturers stamp which should tell you where they were made. The caps threw me off track. They do like nice though. In the early 80s many Asian wheels that were made under limited production were imported in to the mainland.
