Hello to all. I'm new to this board and im looking for some advice. I am considering selling my 96 Z28 and buying a 94-96 Vette this year. My question is, will I be able to find a good example for around 15k? I live in the Metro Detroit Area if it matters. Thanks in advance.

Re: Is This Possible? (MARKSREDZ)
Figure out exactly what you want and don't settle. If you can't afford the car you want, save a few more bucks and do it right. I think 15K should buy a very nice car. Don't limit yourself to your local area, I flew to CA and drove my dreamcar back up to WA in a weekend. Good Luck! :seeya
I think that you should be about to find a great car for that price. I don't know what prices are around the Detroit area, but I saw a '90 ZR-1 for sale in Manhattan Ks for only 19,000. Hard to believe, but good cars and good prices are out there.
never say never..... i got my 96 LT4 with Greenwood last Nov for $15,777 (including a 2year extended warranty)... the Chevy dealer got it through a repo for $8,900.....

Well you don't want to say never, but it is highly improbable.
I got my 1994 with 80k miles, some mods (see sig), a new ZF-6 tranny, new radiator, FX3 shocks, etc....basically everything except optispark for $14,900. It's in excellent condition too!
