What will happen first.
The vert has been running ok pulls to 7K in D(3rd)...vibrations are GONE..
However, it won't hook....
so I have some Hoosiers on the way....with 17" OEM Z06 rims
one of my C4 buddies asked me what I thought was going to happen first:
pretzle a halfshaft or break the snout off of my D44.
I believe everything will be ok, but heres the poll.
Pretzle a halfshaft
break the D44
NADA damn thing

how much power are you putting down?
If you have less than 500 hp I think you are safe on a d55 for a while at least.

Go ahead and get some halfshafts in stock. And a bearing assembly. You will need both for the passenger side.

the dana 44 is pretty strong..you'll likely chip up the ring and pinion with over 500hp but the driveshafts to the rear wheels will be weakest at teh u-joints.
