Do defoggers cause the plastic tint film to deteriorate?

Not from what I've seen. Cheap tint will turn purple through the years though. :cheers:

Mine has been on since early 1996. I had it re-done(it peeled a little,and the back window was off the car) and the de-fogger aways works

currently have 3 vehicles w/ defog / tint (not vette, yet !) & all look fine. '92 cherokee has had tint since spring of '93. still same as day it was installed. no peeling/fading/color purpling. go with a pro installer w/ lifetime warrenty.
