my corvettes vin number plate on the dash is so rusty you cant read it, is there another vin number on the car, you cant even get to the plate unless you take of the windshield... it looks like condensation killed it .
There shouldn't be any issues unless someone questions the legitimacy of the title to the car. And unless they have a reason to do that, I don't see it even coming up. My VIN plate is rusted pretty badly too, but it's still semi legible if someone really wants to read it.
As long you're 100% certain that the car you're selling matches the title you're giving, you should be fine.
