headlight problems
OK, so I am finally getting my 88 to the point where I am happy with it, but I have been having more and more problems with the headlights. They dont pop up all the way most of the time now. Sometimes they get almost all the way up, but then swing back down part way. If I push in the headlight switch to the parking light setting, then pull it back out again a few times they eventually stay up. Other than giving them a shot of viagra, any suggestions? Is it the motors that are wearing out? I don't see anything blocking their progress. I thought the 88 motors were revised from previous years to be more dependable... maybe not. Any insight would be helpful. If the motor needs work, can a novice fix them, or should I pay someone to do it for me?
