No Shift 1985 automatic
1985, Z51, automatic transmission
I was getting a very poor idle, and it would change from day to day either speeding up, or slowing to a stall at idle. I deceided to change the IAC and the only way to get it was to remove the throttle body. Well one thing led to another, so I cleaned everything and in so doing I removed the TPS. After putting it all back together and going for a test ride, it wont shift. It's in 1st gear and will not upshift. I'm lost. Anyone have any suggestions or feedback?

I "reinstalled" the IAC valve (checked the pintle spacing), the TPS, and the TV cable. Did not "reset" anything as I didn't know there was anything that needed resetting and I wouldn't know what to do. Any guidance would be appreciated.
