Okay....I give up, I've read thru the FAQ's and followed the directions and still can't post pictures from my computer. The small "posting rules" box at the bottom of the page says "I may not post attachments"
I like the forum but it is waaaay to damn cumbersome compared to others I use.

First, go to this site.

Click on "browse" to look for the pic on your hard drive, then hit upload now. Your pic will upload, and it will give you a preview of the pic. Then to post it, copy and paste the contents of the "direct link" box to this forum and surround it with IMG tags.
Here will be the result.
Hit "quote" on my post here to see what it will look like in the reply box.

Okay....I think i've got it, but why do we need a third party (image hosting site) to make this happen ? Other forums I use can post directly to the site from the users computer.
