I am going to change the spark plugs on the 95 vette. I was going to go with factory ac delco, except the dealer is out and it will be a couple of days or longer. I have heard about people running NGK plugs, (thought those were for imports) any suggestions on spark plugs would like to have them done by this weekend.
you shouldn't have to go to the dealer for spark plugs. I bought mine from Advance Auto parts. but all the major parts places should be able to get them

Every 95-96 I've pulled the "factory" plugs out were always missing at least 50% of their platinum pucks. ( made the gap around .070) Didn't matter if it had 12,000 or 50,000 miles. I would not use them ever. I put NGK in everything and have no problems with them.
I've got a 95 convertible with 108,000 miles and just replaced the sparkplugs. I had put in the oem AC Delco plugs 50,000 miles ago and just replaced them with the same. No pucks were missing after that amount of miles and I'm happy with these plugs. The gap had increased some from the 0.50" gap as is normal after plugs have been in for awhile. I'd recommend changing these plugs at shorter intervals than the 100,000 miles that's recommended by Chevy so the gap doesn't get too big.
Rember to apply some anti-sieze material to the plugs and the proper lube to the inside of the sparkplug boots. Both will make it much easier to change the plugs next time.
