91 Vert... CARBON
He is looking for all and EVERY piece of weight saving items he can find Anyone have any suggestions?..... all would be appreciated! He will stop at NOTHING!
Heres what I did:
I removed dual mass flywheel and replaced with lightweight fidanza aluminum and stage III+ cluch (Saved 30 lbs). I replaced the stock cast iron manifolds with LT headers (saved maybe 20 lbs?). Removed A/C system (saved about 30 lbs). Removed spare tire/jack. Saved about 30 lbs. Upgraded front brakes to BAER Eradispeed 2-piece rotors, and tires to 6/32nds tread depth Kumho Ecsta V700 race tires (yes, these come with grooves and I run them on the street) - this saves unsprung weight which is more important.
I did have to add some weight: I added a 6pt roll cage + 30 lbs. Added a supercharger + 25 lbs.
My next step, for weight loss would be seats: Each seat weighs 42 lbs. Im going to guess racing seats weigh about 10 lbs a piece. So I just saved 62 lbs. Next, Id do something about the starter motor. Summit Racing has a lightweight starter available, saves 20lbs. Next, Id do something about the exhaust. Maybe see if a lightweight muffler or straight pipes exist. Next, Id look at the hood. Toledo Pro I think? made a lightweight snake skinner hood. Next, Id remove the mass backing underneath the carpet. Remove the BOSE. As you can see Im starting to hunt for stuff.

How's his weight? Some dieting and exercise might help or maybe hire a skinny teenage girl for the driving duties?
