outside rollup window seal
can someone give me some insight on how to replace the seal on the outside of the rollup wimdow, the 89 i bought is all cracked and i want to replace them, i would think its easy, but i`m not for sure, i would kinda like to know beforehand. thank you.

I did mine last year. It is rather easy but a couple of tips. First, place a box or something underneath the door when you remove the door panel to get to the outer window seal. This will prevent the door panel from dropping to the ground and disconnecting all of the electricals. If you don't have to re-connect all of the switches in the door panel, the job will go much faster. Second, be very careful when you drill out the rivets on the old window seals, your fiberglass door is just behind those rivets. It took me about an hour to an hour and a half per door and I am a rank ameteur.

i did mine sunday. i got the outer window seals from mid america. it was not bad at all. i printed the link obove and it took me through step by step.
