Interior lights

I was getting ready to drive my 91 c4 yesterday and it wouldn't turn over and the battery was dead after charging it I noticed the interior lights stayed on and now won't go off, anybody have this problem before ?? and what is the fix ??

is your dash lights dimmer lever turned to the on position? never gave this any thought, but does the interior lights stay on with the ignition off, and the dimmer to the on position?

I had a bad one on my driver side go out....damn alarm kicked on while I was standing there lol. Check these out.

I don't know how but I removed my #1 fuse and recharged the battery and all seems to be working now.

I left my interior lights a few times using the dash light dimmer and it doesn't take long to drain the battery. I also had a door ajar switch go bad on the passenger side and gave me problems draining the battery until I found the problem.
