Hashmarks?

I bought some chrome hashmarks for my car about 6 months ago and have been debating on whether to put them on or not. What do you all think?

My only concern would be how they hold up over time. Take a look at all of the cars with fake chrome strips in the mouldings on the sides. They all seem to peel after a while. You could always take them back off later. If the paint has faded at all, you will be left with ghost hash marks of a slightly different shade. Which might not necessarily be a bad thing. My .02
