Hurst short throw installed
I recently bought a Hurst short throw shifter for my '93 ZF 6 speed.
A while back I posted a thread asking if it was worth doing and I received positive feed back. I can say that I am glad I went through with it.
The shifter is short, crisp and positive. The claim is that it reduces the throw by 30% but it feels much more than that to me. I for one am very happy with the conversion, so if any of you are contemplating going to this shifter I think you will be very happy with the results.
IMO it gives the car quick response and more of a sports car feel. I also like the feel of the 8 ball **** atop the shifter.
Although not manufactured anymore they can still be found on e-bay or even at times on CF parts section.
