Default wheel opinions???

So i currently have

I know its not for everyone and it doesnt stick out tons but it definitely freshened the look up a bit. Now due to multiple incidents of shops taking the lug nut covers off a couple have cracks or scratchs. So im gonna order a whole new set of silver ones. However, my first plan is going to be to use the same color red on my lug nut covers to see how that looks first. Any opinions on it? Anybody able to photoshop it for me? Im definitly gonna do it since I have a fresh set as back up but just figured I'd check with ya'll first. THANKS

The red dust shield will block air flow to cool the brake rotors. The stock Sawblade wheels are designed to vent hot air out.

I definately would not paint the lug nut covers Red! That would look silly in my opinion.

I would have to choose silver. The comment about the dust shields is correct. I would not recommend them.

I also would leave the lug nut covers silver.

What the above members say is true about the red dust shields, I don't think it is really an issue for a street driven car.
If you do a lot of "spirited" driving you might notice some brake fade due to heat, but under normal everyday driving I don't think you'll notice any difference.

If you are going to paint the lug covers, go black, not red. The red will look odd at best, but I too vote to leave them silver.

I'ld get the covers with the C4 logo on them and call it day myself. But since you already have backups what would it hurt to give it a shot. Go for it. It may turn out better than one might think.

I agree, I want to remove the dust shield at some point for the sake of the brakes although I've never had problems with them. After a bit of editing this is what i want my wheels to wind up as, maybe I'll get around to it this summer. Then add the red lug caps.

I tried it, I have painted mine red and yellow.
Lug nut covers should be chrome or black depending on wheel color.
