headlights

hi forum readers mabee someone can help me out there. my brother got a 84 vette, and one of his headlights wont come up. i hear the motor running so i guess the gears r gone. we never did that b 4 so we dont know where to start, so i was wondering if anybody could help us

Bushing inside. Motor should run about 15 seconds and quit. You might hear a thumping sound. Ecklers has the bushings and instructions. Took me about an hour to do both.

I haven't had to do any repairs on my '96, but there is a "sticky" in the C4 Tech section for headlight repairs.

hi forum readers i got web sites that u sent and they say headlight bushings replacement 88/96 im wondering if its the same for a 84 any help would b helpful

Almost the same just a bit different but, you can do any of them about the same. Just did mine on my 95 recently and took about an hour for the both of them... It takes two people to line them back up though.
