I started up my car to head out this morning, and was going to stop at the gas station first. Well, I got as far as backing out the driveway and putting it in first…Sputter…sputter…spit…Out of gas AAAAAAAAAAAAAA…as most of you know from experience, My dash read a little less then a ¼ tank…My neighbors think I am half crazy, the number of hours I spend tweaking, polishing, tearing things off and putting them back on…But having the car in the middle of the street, and me pouring gas from my snow blower into the tank during when everyone in the neighborhood is heading off to work…is one of life’s embarrassing moments :nonod:  :nonod:
My favorite is when the VATS acts up at the Full Serve car wash. I hate seeing my Vette getting pushed out of the bay with a WTF look on everyones faces. :bb :smash:
I dont like that gas guage!!! :mad No room for error :mad Why is it empty at 1/4 tank :mad :mad :mad I always fillup at 1/2 tank to avoid a long push home :smash: :smash: :smash:    :jester
I'm glad I know that information...I am planning on getting a 84, or 85 (preferably, for the TPI...I want to do the LT1 intake swap, and it's easier to do it on a tpi car....). Does this happen on all years, or just certain years? Thanks.

I would have paid good money to witness that! ;)
