Default Mallet Race Car

OK, the story of the car is that it is a 95 ZR-1 frame, the car was set-up for One Lap of America. The car has a GTP motor that made about 900hp with the Novi 2000 supercharger. I tried to buy the car about 3 yrs ago from Lance and was quoted a price of $75k. Maybe I should call them again and see if the price has dropped any since they are bankrupt??

Here are pictures of the car

That interior is 90-91.While these guys have built some outrageous cars in the past their reputation is garbage and I dont see how it will ever be repaired.

Can someone please fill me in on a few details?

the maker of the roll-bar? It looks similar to an autopower, but it's got door-bars etc.

The engine? Is it an Ls-x based build? It actually looks right at home in there, even with the large supercharger.

what's up with the reputation of the shop?

There is really only one other car that I would do almost anything to get and it would be the Mallet car or one of these 2 pictured here. Problem is the other 2 are owned by GM.

That Mallet car is cool for sure, but put it up there with the Morrison cars??????????

The only C4 I would put up there with those 2 is the Sledgehammer.

I agree with the Sledgehammer, the reason for the Mallett car is the motor and the build and finish on the Mallett car. The Morrison car are looking to be a long shot to purchase them since they are owned by GM, but you never know, might get lucky.

I will say the build quality on the Mallett car is years ahead of the Morrsion cars but in their defense the Morrison car were built as race cars only so is it fair to really compare the too??

I'll admit that I don't know anything about the Mallet car that you didn't tell me. I put the Morrison cars and the Sledgehammer in that next level because of the history behind them not necessarily because of how well they are built or even how fast they may be. Looking at the pics, it does look like a heck of a well built car.
