I in no way endorse the above listed comments by the dog. I fully support my wife in all attempts to find safe and effective treatments for menopause and I completely understand the discomfort she and all women experience. Further more, I agree in principle that women suffer unnecessarily and have a much more difficult life than men in general.

Sadly, i got many more ladies with my red 96 ford mustang convertible (V6 ) than my vett. Not that the ladies DONT like it. Trust me. I have given a few ladies rides that i thought i was going to have to have the passenger seat steam cleaned afterwords!

Hasnt worked for me yet, but I tell you one thing, no one has put the Vette down! All the ladies I talk to at school ask why I have a Vette hat, or my leather Vette jacket and obviously I reply because I drive one! Then they get all excited and ask questions... I'm not sure it gives me that much of an edge on the ladies, but I will let you know in the spring when the top goes down and the "hey wanna go for a cruise on this lovely spring day" starts a-flyn!

Mine didn't, she wouldn't talk to me for a week after I bought it, haha.
Guess I should have warned her before I got it home.
I think that the "babes" who are attracted to a man for his car aren't usually attracted to the car itself, just using it as a barometer of how big his wallet is.
So other than hardcore C4 fanatics, or those still convinced that any Corvette, even a C4, is an expensive car (which, surprisingly, many still do), most of us are still going to have to rely on our other charms.
God help us all, haha.

I bought my first Corvette back when I was 23 (in 1981). The women I dated, went out with me IN SPITE OF my Corvette, not because of it. I can honestly say that I never got a date because of the car. I moved into NYC a few years later and never lacked for female companionship. I think I may have given one woman I dated a ride in the car when we went out to the burbs (where it was stored).
At the end of the day, I like Corvettes because I like them, not because of what anybody else may think - opposite sex or not.
If your personality is so weak that you need the car as a crutch, I doubt you'd do well with the opposite sex anyway.

HTH would I know. I was never able to tell if a lady was interested or not anyway. heck I just assumed they were being nice. I have a few instances, when going back for a reunion or around holidays, I have had a lady ask me why I was so stand offish in years past because they had this crush on me or something yadda yadda. I told them, well it's a fine time to tell me now! I am sure that followed me through the years. Now 51 and I still couldn't tell one way or the other.
I have had many ladies stare at the vette, then they look at me, then they go back to the vette. Don't really care anyway, never did for that matter. I'm a car guy. I never bought a car to impress. I bought them for me. I'm kinda selfish that way.
Women are funny anyway. Some are impressed and some aren't. It isn't like it used to be anymore anyway. Years ago that meant something to women because they were looking for a husband. Nowadays they can take care of themself, and do! They can buy their own vette.
I do recall, when my wife went on vacation as I call it, I was talking to a lady and cars came up. Of course I told her about the vette and the STS. The next thing I knew there was 3 of them around me asking questions about the vette. So there you have it. Are they impressed with the vette, or impressed what the vette means to them. You figure it out.
Another ramble by sarge.

Lol, I just made this thread for kicks, not to find out how to get the ladies lol! I'm doing fine with the ladies without the aid of the vette (none have ridden in it yet). I was just curious if the vette aids the pursuit lol. I love wearing my corvette shirt with my leather jacket everywhere (the ladies dig it). I'm sure once I finish the exhaust, they'll be turned off haha
