Default Got bored last weekend..

Made some custom vette-rollers!

each caster can support 1000 pds! So thats like 5k on each one.. granted I doubt the wood would handle that!

Static load maybe 1000 pounds, dynamic load more like 400-500 pounds per caster

it can go pretty fast! (over your toes!)

Your probably right. I highly doubt they each can handle 1K rolling! Plus all the casters I was looking at are ALL made in China!!!

but it is nice to be able to push the car a couple feet here and there!!!

Without sounding stupid............

How did you get it on top of the rollers?

How will you get it down?

And, how come you didn't paint it to match ur 'vette?...lol.

Jacks man! it wasn't a 'thang! haha.

Just have to jack it up a little, and slide em out!

I just been toying around with the idea in my head for a while, and didn't want to drop the extra $$$ on the ones that hold from the tires. This way if I wanted to not drive the car for a couple months, I didn't have to worry about flat spots. Plus it's actually pretty solid, doesn't feel like it's going anywhere.

and I didn't color match them, as I was going for the 'natural' wood color

Why would you not want to drive the car for a few months????? It's not like you have to put it to sleep for the winter. I can't stand not driving mine for a couple days, let alone a couple months.

Unless.....you have another vette to jump into....

I try to drive it! Only put on like 400 miles this past year.

I usually don't drive it in the summer. It's raining everyday, and it's hot (black interior). woe is me! lol
