Does anyone have the directions for programming a new keyless fob for my 96 coupe?

I wish my predicament was "as easy." I too have a 1996 Lt-1 with PKE. The only problem is, the previous owner installed an aftermarket alarm. Now, even though the PKE system still works like a champ, I also need to carry around the other fob to disarm the second alarm system. I thought about taking the car to an alarm specialist and having the second alarm system removed. It works great, but doesn't have the cool Passive, keyless feature.

My question is, what is wrong with the PKE system that would drive an owner to have another alarm installed? I don't want to go back to PKE only, to find out there is some glaring problem with it. Any ideas?
