Can anyone tell me where the oil pressure switch is located on a 1984 corvette. I am sure that it is mounted into the block. I have looked on top and to the back of the engine toward the distributor cap.Even remove the cap and still can't located it,My eyes might be going bad on me.I am not sure if is a three prong or a single prong switch,Wish I had a illustration that might do me a world of good. So if anyone can point me in the general direction it would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached also at klgrayson61@sbcglobal.net
IF the '84 is the same as the later TPI cars , the oil pressure switch is a small 2 wire unit.
Oil pressure sensor for pressure gauge is large canister style single wire unit
Both are mounted on a single extention that comes off the block behind dist
it is hard to see, look below the wiper motor to the right of the distributor, there are 2 switches, one short and one long. they are much easier to change if the wiper motor is removed.
