Best wheels for Metallic Charcoal C4
Long time reader, first time poster
I'm looking for some opinions on what wheels would look best on a metallic charcoal C4. The car isn't quite brown/black so I'm not sure if a black, chrome or grey wheel would look best. It currently has the second set of tires that were ever purchased for the car on it. Old Goodyear GS-C 275/40 R 17s all the way around on stock wheels. I'm debating if I want to go with a new set of wheels and tires or just get a new set of tires. The tires on it are rock hard so new tires are must, wheels are optional. If I go with a new set of wheels and tires however I am thinking about going with something a bit wider in the front and rear. Any advice?
Here are some pics of the car as it sits today.

Welcome and Nice Vette!
How about some new ZR1 Rims in chrome or gunmetal?
I think that would look sick and also different from the common stock sawblades, ZO6, and old zr1 rims (a molds) that are commonly used...

Ahhhh... always happy to contribute to a wheels thread.
I'll throw in a vote for deep-dish C5 rims - 18x10.5 on all 4 corners.

Thanks for the pictures guys! I think i want to go with a ZR-1 style whee, possibly polished aluminum or chrome. What wheel dimensions do I need to run to have a 275/40r17 (stock) in the front and an 11" wheel in the back and a 315/35r17 in the back?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Wish I had the pic....
I saw a pic of a Vette the color you have. It had a black chrome ZR1 wheel from AFS. It looked awesome. I have them on my Competition Yellow '96. I get some very nice comments on them. Wish I could help with some pics on your color, but I will tell you it looked very sharp. Good luck with you decision.

I have a set of 17x9.5 fronts and 17x11 rears ZR-1 AFS with Sumitomo tires in the sizes your looking for on them, Hyper Silver with the polished lip for sale on here for $1000.00. They have the correct offset for 85 thru 87 corvettes so you don't need spacers. They have about 5K miles on them and are the ones in my avatar. Add was posted around Feb 28th. If you cant find it PM me and I can email you pictures.
