Wheels

I was wondering, I have and 84 and have 16" rims on it now. Rhese are original. Can I put 17" on the front and 18" on the back? I can get a great deal on some rims from someone near me who sold his vette. He has a perfect set and they are 17" and 18". And the price is only $300.00. Any help would be great.

Depending on off-set you will need spacers but lots of guys use those, $300.00 is a good deal

Your 84's original wheels have a 36mm offset. Check what the replacements have and go from there. If the offset is too large, they will sit too far in the fender wells without spacers.

I just did what you are asking about.

I used 1 1/4" adapters to move the rear wheel out the proper spacing
