Ok i have a 93 auto vett and im switching from 2:59 gears to a 3:54... i am already in the process and have the rear end off the car..someone told me that if you have a auto that you need to do a D44 swap? just because its stronger and that the D36 will not hold up...i run on the strip a lot and the last thing i would want is to have to replace a rear end...does anyone else run gears this low on a D36? if so have you ran into any problems?
and making it hook! The hook is what shreds them, with big hp.
