Default Spark plug wire setup. Picture help

My 1 year old Summit 8mm wires are toast!

The car stumbles and miss allot, and I have big light show under the hood... There are no obvious burns or damage on the wires, they just shoot the spark on the headers and brackets even at idle.

I plan to order some MSD 8,5 wires, heat boots, and stock wire looms (I know I need to drill them out to fir the 8.5,mm wires)

Could somebody post some pics of how the stock wires a mounted along the heads on a LT4/LT1?
My looms and brackets are a mess right now...

Not sure if this will help or not, but I'll try.

And here is one from my car. Probably not exactly everything you need, but it's all I have in my Photobucket at the moment.

Lars,
These looms come with 4 new brackets for mounting to the heads only. but it would be up to you as to whether you reuse the stock power steering plastic loom. I eliminated my PS loom and just used stay straps to group wires together and hold them in position in that area behind the pump.

I'll have to look thru my 6'' pile of receipts and see if I can find the PN#s for the vertical looms with brackets. The Made4U looms web site will show you the different styles available though and I see the brackets are purchased seperately from the looms. They only show 8mm and 10mm looms but the 8mm fit the 8.5 pretty good and snug without mods but I guess you could open them up a little if necessary.

I thought they might come in handy some day.
I also have detailed pics of an L98 that is sitting on a stand from MY Garage at Funfest '09 if anyone needs them.

Does anybody have the part no. for the stock looms?

I think using the stock ones will leave the cleanest look...

Oh yes, please post. It can be tricky routing the wires as they have all those heat shields they are supposed to be tucked into.

Lars these looms are GM Performance same as stock loom but made from polished stainless steel and have the bow tie lazered in. Will fit 7 and 8 mm wire, might need to open up a little for 8.5. Comes with all the plastic holders and new brackets. The front brackets I had to use the existing brackets and mount the new plastic holder as the looms were originally for a Z28 limited. Part number 12496806. Do a Google on part number or Jegs sells them.
