Too tall?

I'm 6'2, would that be too tall for a comfortable fit in an '81 Corvette?

You're in the wrong section. You need to ask someone in the C3 section. This is the C4 (1984-1996).

You'd be about 5 inches too tall, just my opinion, I have no real facts or experience in this whatsoever.

I do know that "us" C4 owners are nicer, more helpful, courtious and kind than any C3 owner. I also know that I'm 6'1" and fit like a glove in my C4.

So...there you go...get yourself a C4 instead of a C3. Make more friends, have a better time, get more help and enjoy the ride.

Hi Vince,

I'm 6'2" as well. I've had C2's, C3's and C4's. The C4 is the only car I have headroom issues with. (Clear top gives you more room) You should be fine in an '81.

body shapes vary, some have longer legs/ shorter trunks...some guys sit 'taller in the saddle'...ya gotta try one to see...i'm 6'3'' and fit in every gen vette, but my head would need to be removed for me to drive a lambo in comfort (wif is saving for the operation)

Depends on which seats you have, I had base in my 82 and I fit ok, but when I got the better seats, I had plenty of room.
I am just a tad over 6' 2" and 190.

Im 6' 2" I fit fine. Everybodies different trunk size wise
