Default Another question whatizzit?

As noted in the picture, there is a nipple on the left (drivers side) of the intake. It is taped up and I could not find anything in the FSM (or was looking in the wrong place).
Opnions are very welcome.
Thanks

On my '96 that hose nipple connects to the AIR pump. It sits just below the left headlight. You can see the end of the pump in the picture.
