He's being honest about the storage part.
Why he's showing all the dust on it.
Mine was in storage 8=10 years when i got it out of storage 2 years ago.
This green one looks beautiful when compared
Alot of elbow work and cussing and it could look like this if the paint is still good.
Where i live its quite humid so the inch of dust had almost turned into a paste Even in a garage with a cover on it. Good thing it was started every year so nothing went wrong there.
But cleaning took quite along time.
Also im looking for another that doesn't have such a rare color combo to make as a daily driver i may give them a call.
That's what I thought. when I was a teen I bought a 71 firebird for five hundred loved fixing it even had to swap out engine and tranny it was a good learning experience. This car sought of reminded me of that. the price is compareable to 25 years ago.

I am thinking about finding something like that and building it up into a sleeper C4.
For 5500 you can bring it up to 350 HP. A few more bucks here and there and for about 7 or 8K, plus the cost of the car a person could have a pretty nice car I would think.
Man that first photo looks like it was buried in the back yard instead of the garage. That's the kind of car I'd like to find for my son, He's good with a wrench but can't afford a nice vette.
Why the heck do all of the postings get ripped down after they get posted here?
Are they from this site?
Do people contact them and tell them stuff?
I don't get it.
Probably sold, if I had the cash I would have bought it and thrown it in storage until I could afford to fix it. Good luck to the person who has it now.
I never understand when they sell them dirty. I pulled up to a few that were by the road for sale and dirty inside and out. I usually get back in my car and drive away. It only takes a hour or two to do a basic clean without getting crazy. Then again mine are probably overcleaned when I sell my cars.
From: levittown pa. usa Even a bad day with my `Vette, is better than a good day at work
