Found a dead baby mouse in my car the other day. Any suggestions on where i should look for nests.. Air ducts, under carpet? It was under passenger seat.. didnt smell at all
I found a nest of mice in my other 93 Vette located under the drivers side dash carpeted kick panel, that's the piece directly under the steering wheel with the OBD1or2 connection. They chewed themselves a nice comfy nest in the foam, so they could certainly do the same thing on the other passenger side as well. So remove the under dash kick panels and look.
Don't tell your wife/girlfriend about the little critters cause they get quite sensitive about riding around and worrying when the next mouse is gonna drop out at their feet!
Ugh..don't even get me started on @#$% mice. Have the same problem and the damn nest was right behind the stereo, but the car stunk so I decided to yank out most of the interior so that I could clean everything and shampooing the carpets. At least I'll have a nice clean interior now.
There has been frequent mention on these pages about using a few cotton ***** with oil of peppermint during winter storage. As far as I can tell it works, and I have taken it a step farther. Even in summer I keep 1 or 2 cotton ***** in use, I vary the location but maybe 1 under the seat and 1 in the back. About once a month I just add 1 drop of oil to each.
Better smelling than a dangly air freshener from the mirror, and it keeps the meeces away too!
