You can go back and do a search on how we welcome new members and you will find these folks are the most helpful and friendly folks you will ever come across.
They also like to help new and old members alike. most of them will go out of their way to assist in any way they can to include doing the search themself, but not before the person asking the question has actually looked themself.
Maybe you took his response the wrong way or maybe you didn't, only you know that.
