Been listed for $16,000 since I started looking for a Corvette, almost 2 years ago. Looks nice, but I don't think it looks $16k nice.

Since it doesn't cost anything to advertise on craigslist. the owner has nothing to lose. He may figure someone somewhere sometime will take him up on it. If he doesn't sell, he lost nothing.

I think maybe at the most I say 11.5 maybe 12 but not 16,000. It is a sharp Vette though.

You'd be surprised what these things can pull in the real world.

We all think we know what they are worth, but Joe blow that is not on these forums might find it to be worth almost his asking price.

Seems to me he/she doesn't NEED to sell the car. Personally, after that long of no bites for the price, I'd just start enjoying the car, and actually using it.

If I was selling and not in a rush I wouldn't low ball it right away either. I'm thinking about another vette and would rather keep it than sell it for alot less than I thought it was worth.

If i was to sell mine it be 12k firm and i woulden't take less.
dont care how long it sits there.
As far as im concerned it will sit and rot before i sell it for less!
Id rather burn it then sell it for what seems to be the non lt1 going price of 6k lol thats what my paint job cost lol.
Id be willing to do a trade + cash.
where i live that guy could get 13k =14k for that car.
There are lots of non lt1 c4's selling in my area from 9 k = 12k in half the shape mine is in.
If they can get it i should be able to in the blink of an eye lol.
