And the only O2 sensor on the car is not heated. Code 13 will either be a bad senors, an open circuit on the purple wire or a bad ground. The sensor is grounded through the exhaust pipe to the engine so look for rust or corrosion on the threads.
Is the sensor new? Is the purple wire connected tightly to the pin on the sensor and is the plastic connector back a foot or connected and in good condition.

The sensor looks clean. I see only 1 wire from the end of it, it looks black in color, but my eyesight ain't the best. The exhausr pipe where it's connected looks rust free. The wire from it goes down under, zip tied to the temp and sending parts, which is all oily from the damned oil leak I have.
When hooked up to a scanner, the results fell in normal ranges, neither rich nor lean.
I can't see/get too the connector, I don't have the means to get under the car.
Is the oxygen sensor different on a ls7 vs the non ls7 car ? My 07 Z has thrown the code a couple of times over the past 6 months. Do I have to make sure the replacement is specifically for the ls7 ?
