Default Valve cover replacement

I read somewhere that replacing valve covers on c-4's is hard to find the covers because of the wiper motor on the driver side and the firewall and a/c compressor on the passenger side. Is this true? wheres the best place to pick up some chrome or aluminum for less than 250???

Bought these off eBay for $80. Did a search there for sbc valve covers but dont remember the seller except they were from AL.

I had to use a breather cap with an outlet to tie it back to the TB because the covers only had one hole each. I pop the cap out to put oil in.

They are perimeter bolt and the seller had center bolts too. Came with new allen scews, washers and oil baffles for PCV, Imported but great for the price. I am gonna polish my TB fins to match eventually.

I used Felpro rubber gaskets and RTVed the gasket to the cover for ease of install. Retorqued after a couple of heat up cycles and have been completely leak free. I am very happy with them.

Sure... I'll do it for $1 an hour. Plus Exspenses and you probably won't care for the Exspence report...
