Default Seat back release trim

The square trim piece that screws to the seat back around the tilt release lever on my '95 is cracked. Where can I get a new one?

Mid-America, Ecklers or Zip, but beware, the price is about $14.95 each plus shipping.

There was a guy on the forum who made a superior piece than what can be bought elsewhere. His forum name escapes me at the moment.

Thanks, I'm always up for a superior part at a good price. Unfortunately the part shown at MAM is black only. Not good if you have a pair of beige seats. Freakin' rattle cans of paint are $12.95 ea. I'd have no use for any more than that trim part. Such a waste IMO. Has anyone seen them color matched?

Try Contempary Corvette I bought new ones there for about $5 each I live around the corner from them so no shipping. They might have used ones in your color.

I picked up a pair on that auction site for less than $15, but they only come in black.

Only $9.50 here, but as the others said, only in black.

Mike,

Since the parts are plastic, what about using model paint. WIth all the dessert camo schemes, there has to be something close. Just do a primer coat first. Try Wal-Mart or one of the discount stores, they should be a lot cheaper

This was the route that I took-If you want a good job then you have to pay the price for the paint match. You may find a similar spray color for about 5 bucks. I just hated to spend the 12.95 but it does look great.
