Default Block Pad ID

Can't identify the codes on a block pad.
Casting # 14093638 indicates 87 - 91

Block pad : VET 1806
SV16017.B

Any info would be appreciated, Thanks.

Wait. NitroNutt: you have a R9G?

Since it was never set up to race, did yours come with the extra engine?

Not factory numbers
Engines of that vintage have partial VIN , plant ID , cast date , and 3 letter engine code
http://www.nastyz28.com/sbchevy/sblock.php#ecode

Vettes engine codes start with Z ; ZSA. etc
Rebuilt maybe?

From what was told to me I am 2nd owner, Haven't a clue who was the 1st. Someone did tell me they know where the extra engine and Dymags are but it will cost me money I don't have.

Thats what I was thinking. Vin # should be on deck in front of passenger side head. If # matches VIN # on title its original.

I was told it was from the Corvette Challenge series, but can't verify it.

Post up your RPO codes. Can tell you if it is World Challenge or not.

You do have a Challenge engine. Found this in for sale section. Brett would be a good guy to talk to about this also.

I'm kicking around the idea of selling my 1990 Tommy Morrison Mobil1 Escort World Challenge car. This car is the sister car to #097 and #098.
I have the bill of sale from Tommy Morrison for this one of three Morrison Race cars. This is a true piece of GM/Corvette Racing Heritage.
This is a package of the #99 car and a 1990 Six Speed donor car to restore the Morrison car back to it's glory. All of the period correct decals are ready to be printed for the buyer by my graphics person. This sale also includes a set of 17x9.5 Dymags, four 315 track tires and an extra VET1806 race engine. The car also has a front bumper now and needs no body panels. Package price = $18.5k Firm.

NitroNutt: You probably know, but a teal R9G with 216 miles and the second engine was a no sale @ $26K at Bloomington three years ago.
