Looks like a cruise to Ohio maybe on my Agenda.
Being a new father and thinking if this was my son brings tears to my eye's
It's a sad thing no innocent child should ever have to go thru!

I have no kids but this still breaks my heart. Ive dug out a couple Vette items to put in the mail tomorrow. It would be great if the C4 guys could pitch in.
Very touching! One poster suggested chipping in and renting a C6 from Avis for the Dad to drive him in for a day - that sounds like a winner of an idea.
Sad to see that even in a situation like that, the C-4 bashers are active. You'd think that stuff would be put aside for a bit.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Anyone who is negative about any generation Corvette is NOT a true Corvette enthusiast IMO. They're just wannabes
Anyway, back on topic, that is a very sad story to hear. I'm not married and don't have kids, but that is something no one should have to go through, especially a kid just getting his life started. I'll see if I have any 'vette stuff laying around I can send.
Just got back from the post office. Get with the program guys. Please send something.

I have also shared this thread with every forum i am a member of!
My wife works at Ronald McDonald house here in Memphis and gets to know many of these little (and a few not so little) guys and gals quite well.
Occasionally, she'll come home very blue and I'll know we've lost another one.
Thanks to each of you who makes us aware of another suffering child, to those of you who donate time, resources, prayers, and the hundreds of other things you've been so wonderful at in bringing to ease their struggles.
Too bad it ended so fast, but I bet he was happy to see all the vette community support him, and his family lives to tell the story about the vette community, and the vettes showing up will speak volumes too.
BTW, the C4 bashing in OT is not serious. They are jokes, all older gens get "bashed" there, just some more than others. We are all lucky to have these cars what ever the car or condition. Don't let some jokes take away from the importance of that thread.
